  6. Danny, thanks for posting. Nats South was the first large event for NSRA that we attended in our own car. That was in '88. Went several times since then. Always enjoyed it and the city. Last time we attended, was in 2017, both of our boys came with us, and we spent the afternoon on Saturday with friends from the Harstselle, AL area.

Some idiot backed into Dave's truck here at the motel tonight, fortunately the only damage was one of the fog lights point's up in the trees, no metal damage. HRP

I have to say that this event has the best turn out I’ve seen in a few years. A lot of nice cars that I have not seen before. Also some good stories about the cars and good people. It would be nice if we could build these events back up to the level they were at a decade ago. Still, a good day.

Thanks Danny for the pics. 1988 was my first South meet and never missed after that for years. I remember when both sides of the tunnel were full with no place to park. It, like they all have, started to fall off around 2008 or so if I remember correctly. Glad I got to experience the high point of participation of this hobby I love.

No price listed but I overheard a couple of guys talking and one said 45, I don't know if he was the owner or someone making a judgement call. HRP

Looks like Tom Kelly's car. He's from New Lenox. Very nice car too. If it is Tom's, that's the last car to get painted at the shop when I sold the building.

Beats me, the photo's I posted are the good ones, blame it on the cheap camera, the bright sunlight, to close, to far.

There are some great photographers on the Hamb, my pal seadog is one. HRP
