    Hey Guys.
I purchased this beat up 1929 Model A Roadster quarter panel a year ago. It is to say at the very best, rough !

The long term goal is to use it as a pattern to make up a fresh pair of new ones out of 18 gauge steel, that will fit over my old cut down AR Tourer.

One of the first things I did was fabricate the missing patch panels needed to complete the lower half.

I used a paper pattern I took from another complete 29 roadster body and placed it over the top of mine and something did not add up. 87D6B32A-04FA-495A-8F69-448F04A94357.jpeg

With so much of the lower half missing, I had to second guess the measurement of the trailing edge of the panel I made up. The issue I have is that I think the swage tapers up about half an inch from the b pillar. I measured out 19 inches along the top and from there measured directly down to the top of the bottom swage. It measured at around 20 and quarter inches.

As stated earlier, the paper pattern indicated the trailing swage was deeper but I need confirmation. What I am after is a precise measurement of the depth of the quarter panel taken from the same reference point I used.

This is the area I need measured, taken 19 inches along from the leading edge. FB7280F8-4A7B-4FAD-BF20-A80429C13B72.jpeg

With that done, I also need a second measurement, the second measurement is from the leading edge of the b pillar to the the leading edge of the wheel well.

These two measurements will tell me if the patch panel I made up is accurate so any help is appreciated.
