  4. Great car, looks great with the top on, not really what you have a roadster for. Looks like you are really enjoying it. Going back to reread some of this thread. Are those original headlights? By the way I liked the wires, glad to hear they were good for 65 mph.

wagoon78: What exhaust manifolds are you running? I like how they clear the steering gear!

Thanks for the kind words and bringing this back to the top. Not much new with the roadster except little maintenance items (headlight wiring, starter switch, gas gauge rebuild). Changed out from a banjo steering wheel to a sprint car wheel and changed the column angle slightly to get in an out better. Still need to get the top canvas redone.

They are chrome exhaust manifolds that came with the car when I got it. Steering box was moved way back to clear the manifolds. In the photo you can see the holes from the original steering location.

That roadster has a 1930 radiator shell.

    "Missed it by this much"!
I guess I should stick to commenting on 32's, obviously I didn't look close enough.
I can easily spot a 31 shell because of the black painted upper area, I prefer the bright 28/29 shell, may be why I missed it but this car is perfect and I am real selective in my attraction to Model A's.
