Technical Model A ford window channel

    Anyone know where I can find one of these , it’s the metal window channel on my 31 ford coupe , it’s unlike any new ones I see , need one for the other door

    i have had [151] model A bodies and i have never seen one of those...
    maybe Murray, Briggs, Bud, Fisher .... etc.
    wonder if an early gl*** shop made that as a repair to keep things rolling...

    I have been involved with Model A Fords since my first one in 1968 and have never seen what you are picturing. Window channels for most models are available from Bratton,s, www.brattons.com.

    I gutted a set of Oakland doors to use on my sedan project and the window channel/garnish looks very similar to that. Oakland doors are nearly identical to 30/31 ford doors except they only have the one big bead on the belt line instead of 1 big bead and 1 smaller bead on the model a. I will pull them out and take a picture when I get a chance.

    Not a factory part, it was a repair done at some point in time.
