Hi & welcome. Nice Dodge. keep us updated as work progresses. From the photo it looks like you kept the original engine. Those are tough little engines and will get you down the highway quite well.
I am almost done with my 50 Plymouth Deluxe and still have the original 217 engine in it. Did a fresh overhaul on engine, brakes, clutch, etc and it really runs great. I just got a set of cast Iron headers from Tom Langdon at www.langdonsstovebolt.com and also ordered an Offy dual intake from Speedway. Undecided on what carbs to run but may get the base adapters and run 2 of the Weber's as that is what is on my Chevy.
Just got to have a bit of hot rod in my old cars as my avitar photo shows the 235 CI engine in my 46 Chevy Coupe.
For the Plymouth my two main parts sources have been www.robertsmotorparts.com and www.kanter.com .
What part of the country are you located as your profile here does not say. There could be some of us nearby to get aquainted with. Jimmie

Hi there Nobull, I’m in Arizona. Yea stil has the flat 6 and runs strong, converted to 12 volt, new rear end, disk brakes. Still the fluid drive trans which is pretty cool. I like the Offy dual carb intakes. Been tossing that idea around a little. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.
    Thanks Rob

Hi. Here is a photo of the 50 Plymouth and the Chevy. The Chevy got rear ended by a texter and is not drivable right now. Will start work on the Chevy when all is finished on the Plymouth. I will post engine photo's of the Plymouth when I get everything in and installed. I have not received the intake yet and have not bought the carbs yet so it will be a while on that photo. Jimmie

Oh wow Jimmy wth!! Both beautiful cars!! So sad about the Chevy. I always preached on my daughter and son, it’s not necessarily your driving you have to worry about it’s the rest of the idiots on the road you have to watch out for.. Hope it’s gets back on the road. And for sure send me pics of your upgrades on the Plymouth and what your thoughts are after you do the intake and carbs..
