Started a new project today 55 Chevy Handyman. Should be straightforward... rusty floorboards, crap electricals and blasted interior. Sound familiar!

This gentleman should be raised onto shoulders and paraded through the streets, if only for knowing the classifieds/posts rule...

The 57 is beautiful. Let's see the project ride.

I dont have any pictures but I do have a youtube video at

Please ignore if external links aren't cool.

This is the wife's car we've owned it for 25 years, did the suspension, brakes, motor, 4 speed and paint way back. Time to fix the floorboards, electrical and interior. We've driven it around KC to many of the local events. Will be switching out the 4 speed to an automatic (the wife can't handle the clutch). It's big claim is its stump pulling gears never counted the teeth but they gotta be 4:56 or 4:88.

I gotta line out my devices pictures are on the phone, posting on a tablet.... just like the shop junk scattered everywhere!

Floorboards are in, new mounts for some 60's buckets ( I think they are Buick ) are welded and fitted up this is the wife's car so little taller and a little closer. Next paint dash, then once over the floor and epoxy and seam seal and carpet. Slow but steady progress. I got a 2004r coming for the next project.

I was just lucky and saw the post about the classifieds when I was trying to figure stuff out.
