Man, how long does it take for the selling blues to go away. Most of the time I have sold cars it was because I was done with them. I just sold a car that I liked and got lot's of attention so I can start a new project...I didn't think it would be a big deal till I saw it driving away with just some paper in my hand......This is the car I sold...EVILT

Studies say it takes at least half the time it took you to build the car before you get over the car. My guess it will take a bit longer due to the sweetness of that thing...........slim

Thats some good advice right there. Even though sometime's it's hard because of the type of 'car' guy's we are..We have a lot of heart and soul in what we build so when they leave us it isn't like just selling "another" car.
I kinda miss my old 32 3 window i sold back in march.
But, i know i have another 5 window waiting to come back to life..

thats what keeps my mind off the 3 window..

That was/is a sweat little ride..

I started to sell my 32 and when it started to get close to reserve my insides started knotting up so I pulled it. Sometimes I wish I would have sold it !!!! Your pain will p***.

I think I would knot up inside if I was selling your 32.. I saw you guys at Paso 05.... You were loading up and getting ready to head back to Texas....I am starting a 27 Chrysler 3 window coupe with a Hemi. I think it will help ease the pain... EVILT

been there and done it man, and I've been working on my project for more than a year and still got more work than I want left. Sold a near perfect 68 400 firebird that really turned heads and gots lots of attention to build my dream 55 chevy but it still bugged me to see it go and I haven't had a fun car since. Now i'm just getting impatient.

  11. I still wish i hadnt sold my 64 F250. That was a great truck, but space had to be made for the 48. Sacrifices must be made for newer cooler projects as i say...

About 16 years ago, my dad sold a 67 camaro that had a 70 LT1 with a M22 and ****ter shield and a 12 bolt with 4.56 gears, new interior, etc. He sold it for $4800. About 35 years ago, he sold a 61 impala bubble top that had a 283 with fenderwell headers and a 4 speed. This one really tears his *** as he sold it for $50. He has had many cars and trucks but those two really bother him to this day.

I sold my 55 150 sedan almost 5 years ago, and I still miss it. I like to sell my cars to people far away so I don't have to see them again.

i sold my 61 lincoln convertible a little while back. dark blue, white top, white interior, wide white bias plys. it was a pretty nice ride, mostly stock with a little lowering. i got more waves and "thats a cool car man" from youngsters and old folks in that car more than any ive ever owned. i missed it till i saw what the new owner did to her. 22 inch rims, slammed and a blue mercedes cloth top... she is dead to me now.
