Event Coverage VINTAGE WHEELS SWAP MEET

Hello Folks, Headed to the Vintage Wheels Swap Meet on May 20,21,22 located in Franklin Indiana, @ the fairgrounds, talked to scott the other day and he has almost 500 presold spaces, lots of parts, car show, model car meet, I"m taking a model t speedster to sell plus a truck load of parts, early ford, misc, gas&oil, 55 chevy rearend, bicycles, a whole bunch, who"s all going, see you there thursday , friday , saturday Bob

 

Thanks, I'm going to check into this, been looking for a destination to take f100 for road trip, this may be it!

 

I’ll be there, probably Friday. Got a list of parts I’ll be searching for to get my avatar AV8 build started. I went for the first time last September, and it seemed like a really good turn out.

Thanks for starting this thread Bob. I went and had a great time. Drove my 56 950 miles no trouble- well- except getting lost repeatedly....

 

So you really should've only done 500 miles. The other 450 was from repeatedly getting lost?

 

Should have been about 750 round trip, The rest was added trips and getting lost, yes a lot! Took old roads, used google maps on phone, google is smarter than me and knew better than me which way I should go. Couldn't figure out what was happening and why routes got changed until when driving in morning when still cool and windows were up. Heard "We found a quicker route for you, If you want to stay on this route click on dismiss tab" . Changed my route which was on secondary roads to I69 and the like, so after I figured that out it was better, Oh I also went to Muncie Dragway on Friday night. I can only go 55-60. Oh that part of trip was a real cluster f*ck. But mostly a great time.
