Bought a lot of trim off an auction site just to get the NOS '53 trunk handle that was in it. These pieces were in with it and i'm not sure what they are for. Any ideas?

They look like paint protectors behind the door handle.

I believe the two longer ones go at the bottom of the gas filler door, don't know what year.
The bottom piece looks like the front fender trim on a '49 or '50 ford deluxe car.

The two in the middle are door handle scratch guards for a 55 or 56. I think.

The top moulding is 49-50 Chevy gas door guard. second from bottom is 53-54 Chevy gas door guard. The two door handle guards look like the ones on my 54 ford Victoria.

Thanks everyone. I don't think I have ever seen door handle guards on a 50s model Ford. Anybody have a pic handy?

    They are also called ring-guards.
