Hi! I just got myself to register, have known about this site earlier, but meets docfranknstein by accident in Boron, as I have a flat with my '66 Newport in the middle of nowhere, on my way to Las Vegas with my girlfriend. He helps us for free and we soon find out we have common beliefs in what's a cool car and what music you should listen to. He also tells me to go register here. I have 20 cars or so at the moment, have had almost 70 in total over the years, mostly american, only about 5 european ('62 Volvo,'60 ford 17m,'37 Opel (daily driver, real pain in the ass!) a beetle (another pain in the ass!) and a french Talbot (ultimate all time ever top notch pain in the ass!). Got projects form '32 Dodge hearse, will resurface with spitfire flathead six, Buick alu drums and possibly some old five-spoke wheels. Also got my grandad's old '42 plymouth 2dr, getting hopefully in driveable condition this winter. I am writing this after the excellent A-bombers weekend in Uddevalla, and would like to enter hillclimb race next year with the '42. will be propelled by a nice 241 Red Ram hemi w/chrome valvecovers I picked up at a local swap meet. Also doing lots of butchery to a '51 Oldsmobile rocket 88 4dr, turn it into a 2dr conv. Everything exept dash and trunk will or has been altered. lots work there. Will make a nice driver. And piss off all friends of original cars as this is only known '51 88 sold new in Norway, with a history from several articles in Norwegian "AMCAR" magazine. Hee Hee... Also have slight fetish for muscle Mopar, Have '66 Coronet w/440 for that. Also like pickups as they are soo practical, from '66 IH 1200 4x4, old fire truck, a couple of Dodges,D-150, D-200 extra long and W350. Also use a '79 dodge maxiwagon ex-ambulance in my work as a tour manager. very reliable. Been all over Europe with this car. Now you know me a bit more, see you again soon. Max.
