    I recently bought a 2x4 rectangle mandrel bender for doing chassis’s. Figured I would make a post about it with some pics in case anyone needs some custom rails or sections built. 5A31DE8C-C61A-4F6A-8631-14B473D49BBF.jpeg 65922BFF-B839-483E-AADF-F79581E6564C.jpeg DADFF482-ECA5-4507-A2AA-7B96A1A13DBE.jpeg 8853BB1D-2FDF-46D0-9085-BADDB4F57469.jpeg 286C7BA6-9A78-42B4-AF52-80266ADE32AD.jpeg 6562728C-676C-459F-BF3B-90967E6ABE3D.jpeg 8A9092EC-52AE-402E-BD09-6A3D5C20544C.jpeg 95F69DF7-8DF1-4C6A-9D79-A43E443C3657.jpeg D1BC7519-53BE-4AFB-97DB-55526E7FF47F.jpeg AB967075-D1FB-4470-A59B-D6A3BE4235A5.jpeg A5FB6CDD-0C6C-4BAA-95FD-EA641D368F34.jpeg CD34AB68-AE4C-4D17-B863-FF4FD66FF69A.jpeg 729A343A-34A7-4BED-9254-6622AB385874.jpeg 40FA15EE-5D8E-46FF-A108-7D4580165F2F.jpeg 2DDF69F1-7B4A-43CF-99C9-E40E27612028.jpeg

Is that massive yellow machine in photo 7 the bender you refer too? It looks
    huge and capable.

Simply amazing. Do you have to physically mark where you want it in position in the jaws with marker or something? How do you get where and how much to bend into the computer for the machine does it take another program or do you input your parameters right on the machine?

I draw it up in bend tech then print out a cut and bend sheet. Lay out all bend locations. Set up machine with the tube then program the bend angle at each bend. Line the mark up to the 0 I set on the die edge and bend. Repeat at next bend point. Flipping tube as needed

    Fabulous equipment! While the 2 x 4 is adequate for many projects…just curious….can your machine handle 4 x 4 or 2 x 3 ?

Regardless, now knowing your capabilities I can imagine buying your services in the future!

Thank you for posting info and video.

I kind of expected that would be the case and it is totally understandable. Most certainly my question was only informational in nature and I appreciate your reply and especially your investment in such a ‘Professional Grade’ machine.

Very cool! I can see lots of opportunities to use it. From full scratch builds, modifications to repairs.

Thanks for posting the video! Very impressive.

I'm guessing you'll save a ton of time building a frame rail with that machine.

yes it is a die change to go from the hard way to the easy way and vice versa

  28. Very impressive, hope it brings you a lot of new business with the new capabilities.
