Yea like i said they were the shortest i could find. I like headlights low also. Seems to be where the shock issue started. I cant remember exactly. I want to say 7 closed and 10 open on the shock length. They came from Speedway. And seemed to be a tad shorter than anywhere else i could find. Actually they were T bucket shocks.

Next time tell him to try crossing a street on feet, especially during rush hour. Lol. Frogger seems to be good reference around here, lately.

Looked like shocks are to long to me too. Bottoming out. The shock should be in the middle of its travel at ride height, or very close. Just my opinion. By the way , love the hot rod, very cool.:)

Thanks. Getting alot of Neg feedback on this "cheap" axle im pushing. Any good suggestions on what or who i should be dealing with on the next one? Seems like this thing is getting a name... "Crooked 2 timer" lolol. For obvious reasons. Everything i do, it needs done twice. And hopefully it aint crooked....Ha

Have an original A axle dropped by ThunderbirdEsq. He's on your side of the country.

Your still alive and your Hotrods still intact...Hambers are on your side...some stuff can't be replaced soon enough...I've seen several broken axles here over the years in Threads bearing that namesake...

Well low and behold, to all the axle haters that condemned my nice looking **** *** front axle that served me well. For less than a 1000 miles, i might add, were dead nuts on da money. Hats to ya all. It luckily didnt break, but i did bend both sides of it, rather evenly, i might add...Ha...By just slamming on the brakes when some nitwit pulled in front of me. I was going apr 30 mph, locked up both front wheels, and cut hard to the right to avoid. No impact, thank God. But after, something was off. Couldn't put my finger on it, but the next day, ******* around under, i noticed that the tie rod that was a puss hair off the split wishbones initially and was not in the same place now. I could actually put my pinky finger under it now. Pretty much the same in both sides. I wasnt really sure at wtf was going on at this point. So i lost a night sleep over it. The next day, back to the garage, it jumped out at me. Wow. I pulled it apart, laid it on an even floor, seesaw like. Ha. I cant post pics on my tablet because of whatever happened to the app??? Regardless, you all were right, dont use junk. It wont last and thankfully i didnt put my hotrod in a pole or kill myself because of it. Ive been warned and p***ing it on. If some wants pics, send me a phone #, ill text em to ya. Thanks again. Maybe you guys are alright afterall.....
