I just found this A coupe in a barn near me.The old lady said her uncle started builing it when he was a teenager but never finished it.She told me she wanted $1000.00 for it but I told her that was way too much and offered her $600.00.I gave her my number hopefully she calls me even though thats still alot of money.

i'm thinking this is bs. That car is worth way more then 600.00 and u should feel bad for taking advantage of an old lady. If she wants a grand give her a grand. Don't try to come over on her that's chicken shit.

man, you'd better snatch that thing up for a grand before someone else does...that thing is way too nice to be trying to jack around on price with...try offering her 800 or so on the spot, if that's a no go then fork over a grand and get it home...someone's gonna snatch that thing up quick...

Im gone for two days and this board sunk so low as to try to chisel an old lady out of $200?! The old HAMB would give her the money.....

.....Then break in at 2am and take it back.

Give her the $1000, that extra $400 is two months of her husbands retirement pay.

I'll make it easy on ya. Give her 1,000 for the car. I'll give you 2,000 for the car. And we'll all be tickled pink. "Make it so number one."

I'm glad to see most everyone has the older ladies back. I would be pissed if someone got one of the family cars because he hustled my grandmother.
Arrgg!! Let it go. I'm just gonna let it go.

Good one!!! I don't think I've been that pissed in a long time. I was about ready to go fill up the truck and start heading back. I'll have to show my wife this thread, I always tell her there is someone out there who can pull one over on me. btw let's see another shot of the coupe on the trailer from the other side. LOL

 What of the rest of car? It looked to be a complete ride before you chopped her up. LOOKED better original. I always thought Real Rodders saved the old tin if it was restorable, put it back on the road. But if badly rusted or damaged, then chop her and make it a Roadster to enjoy. Maybe my teacher was wrong. I think your Handy work could be used better to bring the old Ford back to it's original condition and find one thats in bad shape to chop up my friend. But who am I? Yet that was a good prank though,..Had some wanting to come visit with ya and I don't think it was to talk cars. Funny shit.

Why start with a piece of shit body.I found a car that was decent and was in my price range and sold the rest to a restorer to recoop most of my money.Let him drive his RESTORED model A 25 MPH !! I guess I'm not a REAL RODDER because I wanted a period hotrod and didn't want to build it out of a shitty body.

First off, glad you're not ripping off old ladies. Second off, chop that fucker up!! I have started with (and am still working with) a shitty body. Well, I mean it's great except that someone long ago torched off the rear end of the coupe! In the middle of paying too much for the rear quarters, looking for them forever, and figuring out how to fit everything back together, I have dreamed of a fresh perfectly stock body to chop up. You do what you want to that thing. Yer not gonna get any shit from me! (Except for ripping off old ladies! :D ).
