Hello... I was on the HAMB a few years back as BrianInPA, but due to other priorities, haven't been for awhile and can't seem to get my old account working. I have a few vehicles I've been working on over the years. My current projects are rebuilding a 1965 short fleetside truck that I've owned since 1992. It was my first vehicle I purchased with my money when I was 16. It had no motor, so my dad helped my put a 350 and Muncie 4 speed in it. That was my only vehicle through high school and part of college. I drove it until early 2000's then parked it in a garage and never got back to it until recently due to marriage, buying a house, and kids. I'm also working on a 1939 Chevy 3/4 ton truck that my dad and I started years ago. Once those two are on the road, I have a 39 Chevy sedan and a 40 plymouth sedan sitting in storage...just waiting.
Hi & welcome. When rebuilding either if yo need to replace original parts you can look at either www.chevsofthe40s.com or www.filling station.com. Both specialize in old Chevy parts from very early years up int the 60's. Chevs of the 40's has both car and truck catalogues. I used both sources when building my 46 Chevy coupe. Keep us updated with pics as work progresses and ask if you have problems. Jimmie
