Definitely not looking forward to moving all of this stuff!! 10 years in the same house - you collect a lot of ****. LOL! And yes - a shop is definitely a must! Waiting to hear back on this place on Springbrook to hear about the lot and some other little issues...hopefully we will find out what's going on soon!

Hi guys, I live out of Central Point, about 10 miles North of Medford.

I joined this group, a few months ago, looking for info about rear spring spacing, when I first started looking for a '54, in earnest. I found my '54, last week, a 6 cyl Mainline in very good shape. It will get a FE & C6 combo.
I'd be interested in joining you guys, some time, in the future and if you have any knowledge on FE swaps into these cars, I'm all ears!

Welcome, nice looking car. I've got a 302/5 speed in mine so no help from me. Another get together sounds great to me.

Let's wait for the weather to get a little better, it is snowing here right now and I am not going anywhere! Need to wait for cascadian to get done with his move as well. Welcome to frnkeore, like the 54!

Hi Jeff, I'm sorry I missed your post.
I moved here in '86. I don't remember Thrift but, this area has changed a LOT, since I moved here. Many parts stores have gone out of business or been bought out by bigger stores.

Yes, the drag strip is still here, as well as the big go cart track, they even hold AutoCross there, now.

Swap meets, not so much :(

BTW, my daughter lives in Mesa.

Thrift Auto was located at 801 N Riverside in Medford. The previous owner and my old Boss Keith Bab**** has since p***ed away https://clustrmaps.com/a/39qvvk/

It's a big building but, I don't remember a parts store there, even when I first moved here. I may just have over looked it though.

Gentlemen! Wow - good to know there is another member in So. OR. Nosford’s gonna be on his own up here soon... wife and I are closing on a place just north of Roseburg in Winchester. I rented a storage unit for the car so it doesn’t get damaged in the move, lol! I don’t have a shop on the new property, so I’ll have to figure that out once we get settled in.

Once the weather quiets down around here we need to get together and catch up!

Thank you, but, my lenses are good, just need the chrome. I wish Ford had made the outer housing in SS.

Really? I'm going to be there, from Mon - Sun, at the Pottsville tractor show and pull, maybe he (or she) will show up.

Your all welcome, this coming Sat & Sun. They have tractor pulls, both days. Look for my Allis Chalmers D17 and my 850 Ford. Both with 16.9 x 28 (57" tall) rear tires and LOTS of weight on them. Ask for Frank Elliott I'd love to meet you all.

Welcome! I've spent some time in the Springfield/Eugene area.
I had a very good friend in Springfield (now pasted) that repaired boat stuff.
