Yes i couldn't get the p/s pump to fit using the short water pump. The frame was in the way.With the long pump it mounts higher.

 

That’s okay, we do what we have to do. Does 57 have a fan shroud like the later cars?

What size tires? Are you going to run 'em as shown or caps also? Always loved the open lug look with chrome lug nuts and chrome grease caps up front.

Tire sizes to be determined, probably only chrome lugnuts.

 

That was for my 56 belair. Which was probably a mistake but i’m in too deep$$ to give up know. The confusion most likely came from a poorly worded post earlier. I tried to edit it for clarity but i guess that was poorly done also

The 57 is loaded in the trailer and headed to the paint booth!
On the home front, the 56 belair is about a minute away from first start up. It’s funny how life gets in the way of these projects. Everything is headed the right direction tho!

 

Can’t wait to see the vette in paint!

 

I’ve been looking forward to seeing it painted too. I believe it’s going to be fantastic in that color.
