    I have a Ford 302 in my 65 f100. I changed from a 3 speed and went to a top loader 4 speed.

I purchased the hydraulic clutch kit from modern driveline and went from an 11” (164 tooth) flywheel down to a 10” flywheel (157 tooth) to match their clutch kit.

now for the starter to be in the correct location since I’m going to a smaller flywheel can I buy a different starter or do I actually need to get the proper bell housing for a 157 tooth flywheel.

    Thanks guys.

The starter is in a different location between the two.

Was thinking that. Now I need to find a bell housing that will work with 157 tooth flywheel and mount up to my Toploader

If you can find a used Lakewood, they have two mount holes for that reason
