Technical Delco Remy Field Coils

    Does anyone know where to source replacement field coils for a Delco Remy 1102002 generator? Am having a devil of a time trying to source these - lots of replacement field coils online - none seem to actually fit this application....

    Google Delco Remy 1102002 there are suppliers saying they fit that generator.

    The old Ace number is 341( 30-35 )amp generator replaces Delco numbers 1913582, 1913670, 1919283, 1921295 plus 9 more numbers. and many other generator numbers . You need cloth wrapped fields that are pliable other wise they are very hard to install , take my word for it . 40 years experience . Use a bolt and washer to pull the pole shoes in . Most times a C clamp well help . Hopes this will help. Rich

    That a good idea, as you are using the full shoe thread rather than a few.
