It was not bogus. I posted it, but at the request of the member, I removed it. Its still very real but i must respect his privacy and request to remove, for whatever reason. I have arranged lodging and a ride home.

    How so?

  6. .......Just seemed strange that folks were trying help the guy out and he didn't want anyone to know how they could do that. Hope it ultimately turns out well in the end.

Actually, no one from the board reached out to try and help other than offering advice on the post. I ended up paying for them to get lodging/transportation and he requested to keep himself out of the limelight , so I did. It will all work out.

  8. Good for you. I'm sure everyone was wishing the best for the guy.

It's a trust thing man. Nothing personal. I can throw a PayPal address up and ask for help, people wanna know where their money is going. I'm sure if they would have seen a hamb name and been like "oh yeah i know that guy", then they would've been more apt to start throwing money. Like i said, nothing personal. Glad you helped him. Did you just buy the car back?

It's all good man. No worries. No, I didn't buy it back, we're trying to figure out a way to get it out to him, as well as the trailer.
