its' worth whatever someones' willing to pay.........i'm sure someone out there would definately pay out for that!
I don't know if it's a standard or master, but here are some Old Cars Price Guide values for a 36 Chevy 5 window coupe Master: 1. $17,500 2. $12,250 3. $ 7,880
Awesome, thank you arkiehotrods! This is probably a really stupid question, but how does my mom tell if its a standard or master model?
According to this http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/Chev/1936/1936ChevroletBrochure/Back_cover.html The deluxe will have a 113" wheelbase, the standard only 109". I'm gonna guess thats a master deluxe because of the chrome centre strip in the hood ( standard didn't have that ). The master deluxe also got knee action shocks while the standard just had leaf spring front. The rest of the brochure: http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/Chev/1936/1936ChevroletBrochure/index.html
Does anybody know what engine that is? It's got a 216-style valve cover, but no side cover going over the head and spark plug holes, and speaking of spark plug holes, I've never seen any configured like that on a Chevy before, with that 'ramp' below the plug Of course, I don't know much about the pre-war Chevy's
that's an aftermarked cover on the side, and it does go all the way up to the valve cover. it's a 216 looks like it's probably been converted to 12v, and has recently had some maintenance done to it....new hoses, etc.
OK, now I see it; I saw the fins on the lower half and thought that's all there was, like the 235, but now I see that it's one piece all the way to the valve cover. That explains the 'ramps'
