When I chopped my old 49 Ford COE, I spent almost as much time on the vent windows and getting them working nice, as on the whole basic roof chop. Your vent windows and garnish moldings look great, nice work. Sent from my SM-A102U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Ima big fan of hammertone paint. Most of the tools and fixtures I build get a coat of hammertone. I want to use it on some car parts too some day.
Here’s the start of the cushion foam, bandsaw cut from 53 lb (dense) foam I’ll add another layer of 1/2 to the bolster before I make the cover. It has a tuck wire 3/4” down in the crack between the bolster and the main surface
Do you sand off the sharp edge of the foam on the bolster? Or does the cover pull it down enough to round it off?

Gettin started on some electrics Not a fan of modern fuses, or premade wiring kits, I like these older marine type fuse panels
Nice work. What did you use to weld the garnish moldings? I've got rust in my screen moldings which needs repairing, but boy, arent they thin!!
