I originally bought this car and my friend just had to have it, so I sold him the car, he already had a 1971 Monte Carlo and with this car it puts his wife out of the garage and so he had decided to let this car go. The car was a long time California car and it is a very solid old car. The car is a flat head V8 and it runs very well, it is also a 3-speed stick with overdrive. The car was painted in the mid 90's and still shows very well, it looks like the windows were removed to paint the car as the rubber seals look fairly new and the door and trunk rubbers have been replaced also. The full interior was redone also, and the interior is nice including the headliner. The odometer shows 48,500ish miles and there is some paperwork that indicates that could be original miles. Everything on the car seems to work as it should including the radio and even the cigarette lighter. The car does has single exhaust and runs very quiet. The car runs down the road very well and is an easy drive. The car has fender skirts and a new battery ( still 6-volt ) and it starts with a touch of the starter. The chrome and stainless seem to be better than average. These coupes are getting very very popular and a good one is getting harder and harder to find. Feel free to message me with any question or call Bob direct 515-689-5214 The car was found inside a farm building where it has set for years--the first three pictures show when we pulled it out !!
