1961 C60 Viking. My friend is selling a car I’m interested in buying and need to sell the Viking to make it happen. This truck belonged to the Bend, Oregon Fire Department for many years. It has one repaint from the original orange color to red. It is very solid. Floors are solid, roof, cab corners, firewall etc. there are 3-4 pin holes on the outer portion of the rocker. I used POR-15 in a syringe and sprayed in those holes extensively. There is no rust in the sill plate area. I cleaned away the old undercoating in the toe kick, lower cowl areas so the level of cleanliness on the lower firewall area could be appreciated. Seat is in excellent condition. Engine runs like a Swiss watch. Original 283 and believed to be 20k original miles. Starts after sitting for a week or two with 1-2 pumps of the gas. New stack exhaust from manifolds back. New master/clutch reservoir. New brake line and hose. New slave cylinder. New push on precision weather stripping. New sill plates and glove box. Runs excellent. Brakes and shifts but, needs additional bleeding as I just bench bled the master. Still needs bled at the wheels. Truck measures a little over 21’ long and a little over 7’ tall so it actually fits in my garage. Clear ***le in my name. Lots of potential. May entertain trades up or down. Cash your way or mine.
