Technical ID Packard Ornament?

I am hoping there are some Packard guys who can help me out here. I've got a Packard hood ornament(the bottom part anyway) but I'm not sure what year it is from. I have been looking online and the closest one I have found so far is a 1940 Packard Cormorant(sp?). But the tail end on the '40 appears to be longer. Did they have this style of ornament in 1937?
