The 56 was a 4 door with a bad 305/th350, open rear when i got it. Since i’ve had it it’s undergone quite a rebirth. 383 roller motor, manual trans, 9”, it lost two doors, all new brakes, wiring, all new interior, etc. I hope it doesn’t take too long to sort it all out!

Nice great progress love the hood and wheels can’t wait to see it in its glory.
Get some miles on the 56 that 383 it itching to show you it’s torque.
I just got my 57 truck 383 700r4 456 rear going lovin the weight transfer in the old truck.

I’m disappointed in the tail light situation, we didn’t realize the 58-60 tail light housings are different from the 56-7s. The body has to be cut to fit the newer lights and we didn’t find out until after paint. Sorry no exhaust chrome.

 

Won’t be long now!
