Another BAD ASS musician, Hot Rodder taken to soon! Get out and enjoy them while you can. Rip my friend.
Iconic band whose music is known around the world. RIP Dusty. Much more than just “a little ole band from Texas. “
Man... Been on a big ZZ kick lately. I know Billy and Frank will keep jamming but it'll be hard to see them as ZZ Top without Dusty.
One of my favourite bands. Saw them twice over here as a group and then Billy separately when he came over for some sit down chats and music. Hopefuly they will still play with a replacement.
I`ll be in Texas tomorrow(12 hour drive) 30 miles from LaGrange. Watch the documentary on Netflics if you haven`t already. If you have, watch it again.
Well I was movin' down the road in my V8 Ford I had a shine on my boots, I had my sideburns lowered With my New York brim and my gold tooth displayed Nobody give me trouble 'cause they know I got it made I'm bad, I'm nationwide
Sad for sure. One of my favorite bands. I usually listen to classic rock, and it's always great to hear a ZZ Top song.
RIP Dusty, I've seen ZZ Top three times over the years and was never disappointed. A great blues/rock bassist
My wife and I got to see them in concert twice in recent years and had planned to see them again this fall in Charleston, WV. Always an awesome show! I also got to see the Eliminator coupe on display at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame a few years ago. RIP Dusty, we will miss you.
Yep they were that little o'band but so glad we all got to enjoy them forever with their music. My old boss down in Joplin got a chance to see them for the first time live a little over a month ago and was over whelmed by their live show. Rock the heavens Dusty !
Man, this sucks. Best 3 pc band ever. If you get the chance, watch the documentary on Netflix, I think it’s called, That little ol band from Texas. RIP Dusty.
As a young teen I was captivated with their music and videos on MTV. I actually bought my first Hot Rod magazine because the Eliminator coupe was on the cover and thats what started my obsession with cars. My thought and prayers go out to his family, Billy, and Frank. RIP Dusty
I jumped onboard when Tres Hombes came out, fan for life. Several of their tunes were always on the set list when I was doing the band thing. As solid of a bassist as ever was. Condolences to the loved ones. RIP Dusty.
I'm probably the biggest ZZ Top fan anyone will ever meet. I've seen them 13x over the years. This was like a kick to the gut when I saw it posted on Instagram. ZZ Top will never be the same.
Same way it felt for me Pete. My wife took this picture at the July 16th show in Manchester Iowa. I was a little concerned when a stage hand had to walk him out to this spot and then he never moved from it the whole show. Still a hell of a show! Felt a little better about it when I heard he was having hip problems. RIP Dusty
She don't love me she loves my automobile, she don't love me she loves my automobile.... she'd do anything just slide behind the wheel thanks Dusty, you was a badass
