I wasn't happy with the way my rear bumper/pushbar/nerf/whatever was looking so I kinda "Jesse James"ed it up. I saw a bike he built that had a holy downtube and I liked the look ,he also did one similar on his 36 coupe . I just used 2 inch black pipe and bulleted the ends and used a holesaw in my bridgeport to drill it out . I used one of those cheapy pipe benders to get the curve.
Not to get off track, But I have a wagon just like that one in my garage... and I mean just like that, no trim, gray primer, super low... I had to look out my front window out into my open garage just to make sure it was still there... LOL
it looks good imo, love it. its kinda like those recorders you played in elementry school as a kid. as said before, open the ends and plug a few holes. maybe you can play fuggin hot cross buns or something lol.
now ya just gotta route your exhaust through there and install flamethrowers and you can "tootle your flute" like a MAN!!!! dj
It's cool, BUT your gonna impail yourself on the ends.. Maybe not you but somebody will get it someday..
Some lawyer is gonna get rich on those javelin points. I think it would look better as a solid bar (no holes).Or use those holes as third brake lights.
Those along with the intake exhaust I've seen makes me think, dude your cool.Hey and remember kids, don't forget to wipe your ***.
I like it. Them are "speed holes". You'll shoot your eye out. Yeah, and you're going to burn yourself on lakester headers, etc, etc. ................ If anyone gets hurt, it serves them right for gettin' too close to your car and if you get hurt, well....then your just dumb. Remember, you built the damn thing, you'd think you'd remember that the thing is pointy. Besides, it doesn't look like it sticks out farther than the rear quarter. Someone would almost have to want to get hit in order to hit it.
Shhwwweeeeeeet. hey if some idiot impals themselfs on the ends then there too damn close to begin with.
