Hot Rods 61 Impala convertible request

I’m not sure if this is ok to ask but.

Does anyone know of a person near Knoxville Tn who has a 61 Impala convertible that would take my father for a ride? He has terminal cancer and is on hospice care. Right now he is doing ok.

His first car was a 61 Impala convertible that after he damaged it Lee Petty fixed it with a 327 and a 4 speed from the 283 3 speed.
Unfortunately for him he totaled it not too long after getting it back.

He has always talked about that car and he is why I’m into old cars.

Wow, sorry about your fathers health prayers for him and family. Wish I had one, hope you find a ride for him.

 

61 Impala convertibles are like hens teeth I believe. Lol. In 33 years of myself being into old cars and having my 64 Galaxie convertible I may have seen a handful online or trade papers for sale.

No I haven’t but still looking. Tried to join the 348-409 site but no luck. Not sure what the issue is.
