Took a ride up in the coupe to find tha despite arriving around 10:30, the event was getting great attendance. Great mix of nice cars on this hot day. Here’s a start:
Yikes, running out of film ( or charge). The swap area shook loose a few bucks too. Ending with me stopping for gas.
Hey you p***ed me on 84 heading home! Agree, well attended and hard to get pictures of them all as there appeared to be a revolving door there. For sure & thank you for your kind words!
Great shots Pete, Was nice to meet you, also your car is very well done, I snuck back later and eyeballed it some more.
Spent around 6 months in Connecticut back in '89, 90 at Kaman helicopters at Mooseup, as field rep. for Boeing. Stayed in Providence RI, drove the back roads to and from the plant. I was really taken with all the great rods/customs there and the quality of them. Looks like it has only gotten better. Great shots and rides.
Quick follow up: thank you all for your kind words about the photos! It was a pleasure to see such both a high number and heavy proportion of HAMB friendly cars at this so well attended event. I’m sure I missed some as cars were continually coming and going. The key point here would be: get there early and plan to make a day of it. With respect to Harpo1313’s comments: thank you and nice to meet you! Always great to put some faces on some more avatars and visit with some already known to me. Glad you enjoyed the photos and in closing: this event definitely worth putting in the calendar.
