I recently picked up a project with a pile of extra parts. While we were loading up I had thought this was a Hurst 3spd shifter, but we were in a hurry and I didn't give it more than a quick glance. After looking at it, it seems to be an auto shifter of some kind but with 2 actuator rods controlled by a single shift lever.

I looked around the HAMB, and elsewhere, but I have no idea what it is. It has the Hurst lever, but no markings on the mechanism and its riveted together (maybe it's an OEM part?).

Can someone point me in the right direction.

    Thanks.

Clamp it in your vise. Place in neutral, move lever side to side. If one arm moves back & forth, it's for a selector type 3 speed such as '51 up Olds, Mopar, Buick, etc.
It doesn't look like any of the ones I've seen, though ...

It's a 4 wheel drive truck NP 203 transfer case shifter from the mid 70's. They used Hurst parts for a few years.
