I disagree about the Western Union thing.

I've used it many times when buying/selling cars.

If I sell a car, the buyer MUST use cash at his end. He cannot use checks, debit, creditcards etc. Only cash.

Then I tell him what city I'm in. That's all. Just a zipcode to where I'm at.

Then I pick any WU location in that zip, go in with my comfirmation numbers(which buyer provides after he sends it), they pull it outta the computer, and pay-out to me.

It's full-proof as far as I'm concerned. It just costs more.

I've done it, as have many of my buddies when selling outta town.

Never so much as a hiccop

***EDIT*** I guess if you're dealing with a total stranger, this may not be foolproof. You send cash, they get cash, and dis-appear.

I'm talking when I've dealt with guys from HAMB or other places I'm familiar with.
I spend enough time researching, talking, and feeling out the deals before I would go along with anything.

Ok I talked to Brootal a fellow hamber and he has bounced the post over to the AUSTRALIAN boards so people there will keep an eye out too..I wont give up on this man...This cant become a trend!!

  7. How did you send the title?...USPS? priority I hope? (always have someone sign for titles and other important documents..regardless of the circumstances)...If so they can track the mail, (the feds may have already done this), you'll have to fill out a form...but thier pretty good at finding mail...especailly priority.

I live in Arlington, and know quite a few people in the car community in this area. If it pops up around here, it will be seen.

Brootal has posted a link to here on "ozrodders" down here, so if it showed up anywhere in aussie it would be easily spotted.

Hope the BRM get the oppurtunity the "thank" this low-down dog for his act.

Good luck man...I'll watch around Detroit and the Woodward cruise...

Also, the color is probably changed to a red or gray primer to change the looks. ( I've seen this happen before)

Just a note for you guys watching for the car.

When it was chopped, the rear window was taken out(still next to my shed)and a 49 Hudson rear window was used.

It has a sorta oval shape.

I will look for pics of it. That alone is a dead giv-a-way. No other like it.

Tim....thanx 4 digging up the old pics!!! Really appreciated!

No news at all yet....the Feds r still looking, i guess this guy does this alot, covers his tracks well and this isnt the first time either!

Even if the cars been repainted, the body mods alone are a givaway.

Cell phones are disconnected and were run through some kind of router so they couldnt be traced and the p.o. box is no longer in use....or was bullshit to begin with. Obviously they either wanted the car for the car and have another title or live in a state where u can get a title.

....and dvancek is right....drama isn't needed here!
put monthes or years into something just to have some fucking asshole take it away from you....Eisenfaust, you struck a nerve weather you meant to or not!

I want to thank everyone again for looking and the places to check. I have replied to every PM that was sent. Sorry I was on the road for a time.

Jimmy I will call you in the next day or two. Forwarding all PM's to you also.

As I stated previously this has the attention of some very good friends of ours personally and they are NOT very happy about this issue at all.

I am still offering the safe passage no questions option for one individual and now am offering that same said person a cash gift upon the return of the vehicle in question directly to me or to Jimmy.

As well I will pay $200 cash to whomever here can get this deal off the rocks and break this deal open. You break the case and you get the cash.

Consider is "The HAMBS MOST WANTED"

And lets we forget Jeepers and Rockys vehicle losses here. I will pay a reward if those deals are found also! I am sick of this stolen shit from good people I know or are here as contributors.

If that guy said it was going to NY I would look for it to
be going overseas from Texas coast or Californicate.
