I messaged Woody back and forth here and also emails about Bob Dwyer who actually NHRA raced a "late model" supercharged Studebaker - the last one of which I was touching base with him to see what he was up to. Woody was amazing to talk to. He had a staggering wealth of information from back then. Reading his replies were some of the most exciting and interesting reads ever about Dwyer and Studebaker and other topics he brought up. He would be quiet old now and I'm wondering if he is still with us.
@mtkaboy was last here in February 2021. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/members/mtkawboy.28304/ aka Willis Woods. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/willis-woods-mtkawboy.1128627/
All the history he told me about, it should be "published" - there is that has been lost. Imagine all the stories from Smoky Yunick's garage that are lost forever or just conversations at Bonneville and countless other encounters.
