I used to drink whiskey until my buddies kept wiping me out, so I switched to Scotch, since it's different and an acquired taste. I'll be damned... didn't take long for my "buddies" to acquire a taste for it!! Bastitches!!!

Maybe the reason all your "friends" drink your alky, is to save you from getting addicted to the stuff. A bunch of people sent me this, so I figured I’d chime in. I originally put this car together 15 ish years ago. The OP’s description is pretty spot on. I bought the car as a tired old Model A that had been crudely kept together by a tinkerer-type guy, and dressed it up as well as I could at the time. I never took the car apart, just had it chopped and then painted, both as “buddy deals” of sorts with a budget of somewhere between zero and less than that, and gave it as much eyeball as I could for a guy in his 20’s that spent most of his money on partying. Some of the best and worst times of my life involve that car and I do miss it. That said, I’m glad Kim is enjoying it and improving it. I get probably ten people sending me photos of it every time it makes it out to a local show, and I’ve ran into it myself several times and even chatted with Kim a few of those times, he’s a very nice guy. The full story of that car in my ownership can be read on my website, or heard on my podcast if anyone wants to know it. I can post links if you guys want, but I don’t want to hijack this thread. The same goes for photos, I have a few that offer some perspective and give a glimpse into the car’s journey in its previous life. If they’re wanted, I’ll post them here.
