Randy coming with shots fired out of the gate.

Maybe I will get the old Okie Doker out of hibernation for next year… she has a few good passes left in her and more than enough for that Poison Icky car.

I am also finishing something new…

Is Salty still around with that old W motor?

Jeff I wouldn’t want to let our great fans down without having some great smack talk since norb sold the Tickety boo and there won’t be any snake bites from Scott guess it’s up to me to give you a good dose of the poison Iveys dodge to leave you itching for a ride in the big bad dodge also AJ better watch out because I’ve got my dragster running very well and last I heard he better get busy fixing his scattered hemi so he can watch me cross the line first plan is to bring both cars and it’s gonna be an epic battle

  11. I heard about some guys laying their wounded car over on its side at the track and patching up the hole in the block with cardboard and duct tape, I think I am gonna give that a shot. Any recommendations on tape? I know where I can get some empty Milwaukee's Best Light beer cases at... 1052831_10200437042581251_1853424206_o.jpg

The whole story is at :

Well first I had to find this thread, which took awhile since I don’t get on the HAMB so much these days.
To get ready for the 2022 Meltdown, we are having to bring the ole Child out of an unplanned 5 year hibernation.
After the 2017 Meltdown, we left the ‘56 with Jeff Jacobson, to make some changes to get the ole girl South East Gasser legal. Joe Jacobson, and Art Beeler towed it back to my house in the fall after the changes, but unfortunately the car was on our open trailer, and the guys experienced a couple salted road rain storms. We unloaded the car, and I put it into the garage expecting to start working on it within days, but was delayed weeks. When I got to it, all the unpainted/unplated tubing, headers, Fab work etc. was rusted, and looked like ass!
The new 416” B/Gas engine had made some serious steam, and was ready to be installed, but I just couldn’t bring myself to leave all the rusty stuff looking so crappy, so I took the whole front of the car apart to clean and paint, only life took over, and that came to a halt after a little progress. Meanwhile, the intake manifold rules changed in SEGA, and the Victor Ram / Tunnel Ram on the new engine, became a 100 lb. penalty, so time for a Smithberg modified Edelbrock TR1.
The TR1 mods took some time, more life, blah blah blah, and suddenly 5 years gone. I got out in the garage last night to finish blue printing a standard pressure/volume oil pump, which should be worth another 5-10 hp, and now it’s time to get my butt in gear. By the why, does the weather start getting cooler in Byron in late August? :)
