Projects Picked up another project.

Picked up this 41 Buick today. It's complete but hasn't ran in 27 years. I've got an extra nailhead engine that could go in it.

 

These are pretty cars. Does it have the factory dual carb straight 8? Did all 41's have that?

This is a model 46 SSE and supposedly most of those came with dual carburetors. Unfortunately this one doesn't have it.

 

is that orange or peach colour?

Why would want to swap the straight if it together ? Run it. and have fun.

Well right now it's seized from sitting. If I can get it freed up then the straight 8 will stay

The factory color was code 566 Chenanga Gray Metallic. somebody in the past painted the car red and that is badly faded red you see there

 

Well engine is not stuck. Time to dig a little deeper and see if it will run
