Attended the 1st annual Pinetree Jamboree this past weekend up in Winterport,Me. The roadster did not run, that's a whole other story, but I had a blast. Winterport dragway is a neat, old 1/8th mile track run by a group of cool, accommodating people. I worked on my car for extended periods of time so I only took a handful of pictures, here ya go
Plenty of old time looking cars there, love the laid back setting too. A literal wind screen in that 5 winder at the top of the page. Thanks for the coverage.
@30tudor, that is Pete Flaven's car. He let me run it a couple times, it rips!! 11s@60 something, way fun ride!!
If we still lived in Connecticut we would have been there. We move to Pennsylvania, and more stuff starts to happen in New England.
Saw quite a few good gatherings happen this last weekend but the pin tree was the one that kept my eye for sure! Search for “this old hotrod” on you tube and you’ll find mike getting Pete’s 32 ready to run as well as a lot of good video coverage of the event!
Hi I'm hoping you might be able to help me out. I'm trying to find out some contact information for the organization that ran the Pine Tree jamboree and saw you attended. My father owns a 1931 Lincoln with a model K flathead and he is having some issues. He lives in Amherst NH and I'm hoping you might be able to steer me to someone who can answer some of his questions, either from the Pine Tree jamboree or otherwise. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Rick Little
Make a Thread on it or perhaps a search may yield some fruit...but yes there's a wealth of knowledge in the New England crowd...
