Technical Juice Brakes On An A Rear End Question

    Tread bought back from the dead to add to the great info already here.
    I'm planning on running fenders all round and will need to go hydraulic brakes for rego here in Aus.
    In the REAR does the use of 1940-48 brakes and hubs increase track width and by how much over the standard A setup?

    My full fendered '30 Coupe came equipped with '40 juice brakes and ran stock Model A wheels and tires without any clearance issues. Sorry I can't tell you if there was any difference between the two as it's been changed around since then, but there wasn't any clearance issues.
