Event Coverage Coffee Run Victoria Point Qld 5th September 2021

Well it has been a few months since I was at this one what with lockdowns snf other things clashing. We got there early as the first few pictures show but it really filled up by 7.30am.
I was busy introducing a new Qld hot rodder who has made the wise decision and moved up here from Victoria to escape the cold weather.
Bob has the 33 coupe with the 54 on the side and one of 5 cars he is bringing up including a 36 Ford Coupe, a 65 Buick Riviera, a F100 and a Chev pickup. Quite a collection coming this way.

 

Last lot and the final picture is Bobs collection plus the 33 Coupe in the first set.

 

Good shots. Must be a trend many more SBCs than the Ford small blocks we see down there.

 

Wonder what the story is on the "Rolling Bones Racing" 40 Tudor. I'm sure i've seen pics of that car on the salt flats.

Hey Paul, many cool things there in your patch. I like that mad '55 with the chop. Is that deuce 4 door an aussie one? Ash has a good old one down here, an aussie one. I have a good drawing of it, just not on file. I like those 32-4 aussie sedans. This drawing is based on Malcolm's aussie roadster. It was drawn at the sunday coffee meets, I'm always at 'em, with pencil & paper ..

I sure hell thought it was in the land of Canada…..my mistakes, so the the senior constable will take care of them Dukes….lol.

 

Sweet collection of cars. Always cool to see hot rods and customs in other countries.

 

The deuce 4 door(the blue one?) I am pretty sure is Aussie. Owned by my friend Phil who has had it many years.
