well work has kept me pretty tied up ,but this is big the back to the bricks car cruise and show is gonna be huge with lots to see and do, also a lot of free stuff will be givin away by supporters. so lets fill the streets with some real hot rods and show them what we are all about. also this is a reminder to the nightmares to call all members and get them down there. we need a big turn out for this. also any buddy that is in flint for the show can stop by flushing after 5:00pm the a&w should pull about 400 cars like always .again that is this saturday the 19th hope to see you there.

  2. I'm gonna try to make this one. I think I got all the bugs worked out of the t-bucket. I was also wondering if there was any more room in the club?

Like I've told a few other people that have asked about The NIGHTMARES; as far as our club goes, it's about friends first, cars second...

If you start coming around, hanging out, etc, and we get along good... Cool. If you have a cool ride, cool. If you meet both of those criteria, we'll see what happens!

Now, if Stacy wanted to ditch the club of "old timers", I'm sure we could make room for him in our club!:D

The main drag of Saginaw St is gonna be normal car show people, and then all of the cross streets are reserved by clubs...

Our club has reserved W Kearsley St, which is the area in front of the body modification studio that Kritz and I own...
The addy of our shop is:
    107 W Kearsley St
    Flint MI 48502

For a little more info, here's an excerpt from an email I had sent out to the guys in the club:

"You can get into the "show" from either the north or south end of Saginaw
St. The cross streets are going to be blocked off.

This means anybody coming from the South will want to either bring Saginaw
all the way up, or take I-69 to the "Saginaw St Downtown Flint" exit. Turn
left onto Saginaw, and take that up to Kearsley (about 8 or 9 blocks).
You'll be turning left onto Kearsley...

If you're coming from the North, you'll want to take I-475 to the Robert T
Longway Blvd exit, and turn Right onto Longway. Take this down around the
curves and stuff until you hit Saginaw (about 3/4 mile). Hang a left on
Saginaw and that will take you in.... You'll be turning Right onto
Kearsley. It's the first actual cross street South of the river.

The club has reserved Kearsley St, West of Saginaw (from Saginaw to Beach
St; the area in front of the tattoo shop).

If you guys have any friends that want to come, they are more than welcome
to hang with us; so put the word out!

We'll probably have a cooler full of pop, and I thought about maybe
bringing a little propane grill again; we have a fridge at the shop, if
anybody wants to bring anything to throw on said grill, or any beverages
that are not fit for public consumption."

Hopefully I'll see some of you jokers there!

    Steve

SO........is there a time frame that would be considered too early to be there, just curious seeing as I am coming from way out in BFE I was gonna leave a little early to just cruise along to get there. Wasnt sure what time you guys were going to be showing up in front of the shop.

  7. ill be down there for the first half of saturday. Someone came up with the bright idea of having a weeding reception in sterling heights the same day as all the cruise's.

I don't know about Kritz, but I will probably be down there between 10 and 10:30...

I know you want to get there "early", but we have that whole section of street "reserved", so it's not like we have to worry about finding enough spots to park together!

True! I will be there around 10 then, I think marc should be there around noon....I think, I know he is going to woodward in the am for the traditional breakfast with his dad and he is cruising up sometime after that. Kinda OT but does any one know what skirts people run on there shoeboxes? There are these ones that come pretty far forward to a point towards the front, I dont know what they are off of?!
Any who, the shoe has a BIG trunk, let me know if I should bring any thing.....

I'll be there. I live real close (2 miles) so if anyone needs 'assistance' (tools, water, dog bites, etc) lemme know. My cell is (810)955-2164.

  14. thanks for bringing that up consistantly... I'll make sure I pause right in front of your Senior Citizen Cruiser, and flat black it for you, then Kritz can stripe it and it will look like a hot rod!! :p ;)

I don't know where you're getting your info from, but the Weather Channel website is telling me "a 30% chance of isolated showers"; which seems to me like the weatherman's way of being a lazy fuck that doesn't feel like making a real forecast.

    I'll be there regardless...

Just think of it this way Joe, if it DOES rain, that shoebox might be able to spin the tires on the wet brick streets downtown.;)
