  1. Hey everyone! Former 55 chevy guy, had one for 16 years, just got back into it with a partially restored 57 chevy 210 2dr sedan, just needs paint, interior and gl*** and finish wiring! Absolutely clean and rust free, car is from Wyoming. California frame, rebuilt 6 cylinder 3 speed, original rear.

Welcome to the HAMB from Illinois.

What is the next thing you plan to do on the '57?

  3. Thanks !! Paint, then while its at the paint shop I have just the window trim to polish, the rest had already been done, get the car back and gl***, trim, finish wiring interior wheels and tires! It actually runs enough to drive around the yard now.

Hi & welcome back. Nothing wrong with the 235 ci sixes. My avatar photo shows the tricked out 1957 235 engine in my 46 Chevy Coupe. Is bored 0.060 with Clifford 268 grind street cam, Clifford shorty headers (needed for clearance to Clifford dual intake with two 2 bbl Weber carbs), HEI ignition, etc. Similar parts can be found from both Clifford engineering and Tom Langdon's Stovebolt 6. Post more photo's as work progresses. Jimmie
