Technical Chev 153, pontiac 151, Merc 3.0 experts???

Will an aluminum merc cruiser 3.0 pushrod cover fit a S10 Ecode 151?. Looks a “clearancing” for the oil sender casting should do it if they are physically the same size? Just trying to fancy up the engine in my A.

 

So it seems the 153, 3.0 and early 151 all use the same side/push rod cover gasket so any cover for them should fit. But the later 151 (around ‘84-87) like mine is different... I think it may be easier to just make a cover out of piece of 1/4” aluminum plate than to modify the merc cruiser one...
