Thanks to Brush making a connection for me, the '47 sold to a great guy in Brantford, Ontario Canada who wants to finish it the way I was going to. I'm bummed and happy at the same time. Sad to see something go that so many put so much effort into, yet glad to be on to the next thing. After all, I'm happiest when I'm planning and building.
Damn, I just sold enough blood to be able to afford it. Oh well, now I can get that laser hair removal I've been wanting. So, what's next on the agenda?
Glad I could put you together Kirk.I trust Bob was in good Spirits ,I know he was pissed at the trucking company for failing to deliver the goods. I love that car. Now I can ride in it. Now its closer to home SO I can buy it!! That ain't going to happen.....Bob is a keeper of all thing traditional. Don't worry....it is in very good hands,He will follow your vision. now, where is my comission cheque?
The latest victim is this.... The '60 Starliner will get the two-tone metalflake treatment, chromed steelies with painted centers and spider caps, dropped in back, and 60's style pleated interior. But this '31 DeSoto modified is still in the works too. I NEED A MODEL A FRAME for it in Nor CAL. Anyone have a decent one lying around? With this in it... Except now it has wide-fives, dirt track ribs and a banjo rear end.
Well I guess I can quit thinking about that car. Glad it is going to a good home. It was a kool kar. Now on to the nexts one.
Kirk, in case you didn't know, Brantford is the town where they make Zamboni's and when I was at Bob's house a couple of weeks ago he mentioned somthing about building a "traditional" style Zamboni but he just needed a good donor car.....
I heard the new owner started to finish the Kirk MaZaro Ford right there on the trailer...always liked your car, very cool either way and congrats to the '60 !
This is exciting news. Much closer to me so perhaps I'll have the opportunity to see it in person soon. Brush, let the new owner know that he needs to bring the car to the Detroit Autorama in March.
Hey KIRK Brantford is 15mins from me, if I ever see it I will take a pic for you..and yeah Zamboni's and the home of Gretzky lol
I heard that guy Bob is a huge wrestling fan and was recently online looking for an airbrush artist to do a little mural work on a car he was going to pick up....
Congrats to the new owner. Bitchin car. Hey Kirk will you be at Waukesha this weekend? I'll be there on Saturday at the Peak booth.
He didn't pay you in quarters did he?!?!... Those things won't work in Coke machines anymore. Onward and upward!
DUDE!..you let the cat out the bag!....Were gonna do a mural on the trunk lid of the LEDUC BROTHERS squaring off with the GIANT!! Wrestling Ol 'SKOOL! I got the Awata primed and pumped ready to go.... ..it's gonna be awesome.
I always thought Canadian murals had to include either a Pike or a Walleye. Federal law or something...
