I've read that the Ron Jolliffe, Rocket Science Engineering, '34 Roadster, was featured in Rodder's Journal issue 16, but I have that issue and there's a shoebox custom on the pages I was expecting the '34.

Does anyone know what issue this Salt-Flat racer was in?

I have wondered for years what happened to Ron. I built the ch***is for his deuce roadster and also two 29 highboy on deuce frames project cars. I knew he had built the record setting 34 but then he disappeared.

You'll find Ron as one of the Starters at SCTA events.

Ron has worked a number of positions out there. And he's built a few street cars, and helped a lot of others.
Jim Jard has been racing Ron's '34 for years, but I was looking for early coverage of it back when it was controversial.
