seems not a whole lot out there for front engine chassis(do like the jim davis on the hamb to far) some advice on who builds a nice kit .i have no problem welding it up dont need chrome moly just going to be a cackle only no track. thank you
Just for kicks I went to the "The Chassis Farm" and their kits are tack welded, that right there seems like a no brainer. Speaking from experience I built 2 dragster chassis and many roll cages and wish there was a tack welded kit when I was doing them. Pat
I'm currently considering getting a tacked together chassis from Davin. Super nice guy, and I don't say that knocking anyone else. Beside chassis kits, S&W sells FED plans. I have a set of the plans and they're done very nicely. I'm still trying to decide on scratch-building or getting a tacked chassis from Davin. FWIW....Davin is the fellow who does Hagarty Insurance Co's Red Line Rebuild videos. Pretty cool videos to watch. Lynn
