For those of you that are into old time radio programs from the 50s and older here is a great site http://www.otr.net/
Great site. Does anyone have a similar source for early television, specifically the programs of the times before there were VCR's??
Thanks for sharing this site,my only happy childhood memories are of sitting on the floor in front of a large floor model radio/phonograph listening to the old radio shows....before tv.
There is a guy at Carlisle that has lots of the 50's TV programs on tape and DVD. He's usually under the grandstand. He even has some of the very cool serials from the 40's movie theaters. I stopped at a Cracker Barrel Monday for lunch. They had lots of 50's DVDs for 5.99. Most had 4 episodes. Lone Ranger, Burns and Allen, Amos and Andy ect. ect.
