Cool. That has to be one of the hardest chops to get right of any around. I've got a feeling that there going to be a lot of saved photos of this chop for future reference.
My dad had a 47 Merc back in the old days. He bought it brand new and had it all souped up. He said it developed a miss and he could never get that miss out of the engine. He bought a new Flathead from the dealer and put a mag in it and finally he got the performance he wanted. He said then that damn Olds/Caddy OHV came out and it was over..
I've always thought those '41 grilles looked goofy but man it sure looks good on your build. I also thought the you could have widened the rear window by four or six inches but never the less the whole car has great lines and execution! Thanks for some of the visual tips. I hope you're going to put some washers under the heads of the bolts of the engine mounts...
Widen the tempered glass backlight? Hahaha you funny Those are bolts acting as alignment pins The real bolts will come up from below as they are stock Ford motor mounts, but you knew that Thanks for your guidance Cheers, Bruce
Well widening the rear window/replacing the rear window... besides with your skills widening the rear tempered glass would not surprise me!
Looks good, but it appears that you're missing 2 or more of the Rochesters on top of that little fire breather. That one looks lonely.
Oddly.. I'm always a multiple carb guy myself, But I Actually Really dig the whole deal on Your eng. Theme. Color, exh., An Yes the two jet.. Great build.
