I hate you and your camera. I totally forgot to get with BobK. I feel I did ok with my own pictures and will post sometime today... hopefully.
Also, did you happen to get a shot of the SoCal HHR that went end over end by any chance? [/QUOTE] If this link works there are pics of the HHR being tossed all over the Salt. The site is Landracing.com Carl http://www.landracing.net/cgi-bin/p...s;p=Bonneville Speedweek/2006/August 15, 2006

Amazing. Amazing Jim Minneker walked away with only a stiff neck after a wreck like that. So who else has video coverage of this?
Thanks for posting pics! I think it's time to upgrade my camera. What's the next step up from disposable? Cool photos - RGV
Amazing! I love the ones with the intimate car/mechanic aspects. The lowlight is also an added bonus. It really shows the dedication and determination of the crews.
Awesome photos. Had the good fortune of being there. Met some great people. Planning to return next year. Thanks for the pics!!
They must have spent some money on it then. Last I knew it just had a 351 crate motor in it, but they were fighting to get a little more speed out of it. 3 guys run it together, but I only know 2 of them. They wanted to spend the money but the third guy didn't. Ha Ha Ha Looks like they won out. Steve the tall guy with the ponytail is really cool to talk to.
Yep, I think 159 is all they could get out of it last year. Listen to me, like 159 is slow in a 50 Ford! ha ha ha I would probably be pooping my pants, but I am a sissy. Ha Ha Ha
Beautiful, just simply beautiful. If you look and listen very closely you can not only see, but you can hear the sounds. Just amazing. Thanks so much for posting.
Dude, You have a great eye, your photos are simply amazing. I have been involved in photography for many years and you have the goods. Of course you already know that! J
Someday i hope to be able to take shots like Buick59 (Mike). For now i have to live with my couple of mega pixel camera. Here is a shot of the 50 ford Plowboy was talking about. And here is a shot of the hhr being towed into the staging area...i think about a half hour or so before the accident.
