m debating which to do. these are what im thinking:

    1. '40 front spring, axle bracket spring shackle hangers, stock A rear X member.
    2. Large front coils off a large sedan, custom seats. Box tubing X member. Saw some on an A off a volvo. lol
    3. Some new coilovers, Panhard bar, Rear weld-on shock mounts, box tubing X member.

    What do you guys think?

    for an A modified btw.

No coils. A modified needs either a transverse or quarter eliptical springs. How do you want to locate the axle? Split bones, hair pins, 4-link?

Quarter eliptical springs are really easy with shackles and a panhard bar. Search out Zipper Motors on the web or the HAMB and take a look at how Daryl did it. He uses 4 bars, but it's the same set up. Cleaner than a transverse spring and very track styled.

I have a new pan hard bar if you need one. I needed a longer one so I got it from Comp Eng. I will make you a hell of a deal on the bar.
