Where to get Ford F-1 Wheel Cylinders??

    would rather pick them up local at a auto shop rather than mail order!! thanks

    NAPA is good about having that kind of stuff in stock.

    I just went over to their website and tried to lookup front wheel cylinders for a 47-48 Ford F-1 and nothing comes up??!!

    You guys sure NAPA has them??

    I've not had good luck with looking up parts for older cars on NAPAs website. Usually if you have the part number, you can get lucky. They will be able to get them, just go in there and they will have to look it up in a book, not on the computer. I got all new cylinders for my 56 there, and they even had the fronts in stock.
     
  6. yup NAPA...the websiteneve has ****!...just go in and they will look it up in one of them old fashion things I heard of when I was a kid...I think they call them....uh...BOOKS!

    9090 and 9091 is the winner....for the fronts.....get them at napa

    Sacramento vintage ford has them in stock if you cant get them elsewhere.couldnt tell you how much tho.

    My came from auto Zone. Look at them closely when you get them. Mine had two different size bleeder screws in the pair, and the cups were different so I exchanged one for a mate to the other, but I am picky. Cant remember how much but they were cheap.
