This is a portrait of of two American classics. Cruising through the local McDonalds in your brand new ‘54 Chevrolet was about as good as it gets.
This photo of the drive-off area in GMC’s Pontiac, Michigan Plant was taken sometime in 1963. GMC produced an amazing variety of vehicles in those days.
Some auto transport companies had some pretty stylish rigs back in the mid-1930’s. Note the GMC truck paint accents.
Chevrolet’s 1955 Biscayne concept car was photographed in the wind tunnel at GM’s Technical Center outside Detroit just before it was shipped to New York City for the opening of GM’s 1955 Motorama at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
